Why it is in the Library

To discuss crypto from the left, one must understand platform power. This book offers a provocative vocabulary for that, and also a target for debate.

About the work

Written as a letter, the book argues that the capital accumulated in big tech clouds has turned users into serfs who produce value without wages and companies into vassals paying rent to platforms. It suggests this arrangement is no longer well explained by the classical concept of capitalism.
