How Democracia Lab collects, classifies and publishes data. Everything comes from official sources; nothing is filled in by inference.

Rules
- 01Never invent politicians, offices, mandates or numbers.
- 02Artificial intelligence is not used as a factual source.
- 03Every datum shows its source, last update and a link to the original.
- 04If a datum cannot be confirmed, it is not displayed.
- 05No ideological score, no ranking and no pro or anti label.
- 06The Crypto Radar covers every party, not only the left.
Radar classification
Each bill is matched against a controlled vocabulary. If a term appears in the official summary, it is the main theme; if it appears in the summary explanation, it is a secondary theme; if it appears only in the document indexing, it is an incidental mention. Bills with no match are not included.

Known limits
- The Senate search mostly returns bills in progress; bills already closed in the Senate appear when they passed through the Chamber.
- The party shown for authors is their current party according to the API, which may differ from their party at the time.
- Summaries and statuses are shown in the original Portuguese.
- Presidency, state governments, state assemblies, mayors and city councils will be added from TSE datasets. The 2026 elections have just taken place and new mandates begin in 2027.
